
Arnold Sapenter ( he/him/his), specializes in organizational leadership and creative change management to achieve cultural diversity and environmental sustainability goals with a record of high achievement and demonstrated commitment to racial and social justice. Arnold has broad strategic planning, project management and training experience with skills developed in multidisciplinary work environments involving strategic thinking and creative problem solving. He is able to facilitate teams in public and private organizations; based on strong experience with state, local and federal government, non-profit Boston institutions and a broad network of community contacts.
Arnold holds an MBA from Boston University with certification in public and non-profit management. He is a certified LEED Green Associate and a certified Diversity Trainer and Facilitator.
The National Forum for Black Public Administrators Environmental Justice Thriving Communities Technical Assistance Centers Program or EJ TCTAC Program is a comprehensive national program that was funded by the U.S. EPA in partnership with the Department of Energy. The program included the NFBPA as a sub awardee and partner with the International City Managers Association (ICMA) along with the National League of Cities, the Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals, the Urban Sustainability Directors Network and the Institute for Sustainable Communities.
The mission of the program was to empower and support Black, Indigenous and People of Color communities across the United States in order to address environmental justice as well as health issues and concerns. Arnold Sapenter was a senior technical consultant to the NFBPA Team until March 21, 2025 when grant funding was ended. For more information go to:

Arnold has been a Panel Speaker related to Race, Health and Environment at recent NESEA Conferences and is a member of the NESEA Board of Directors.
